Result-driven Gas Engineer with over 4 years of seagoing experience on LPG/LEG carriers. Since cadetship, I have been actively involved in cargo operations, cargo equipment maintenance, and gas handling systems. I hold a Master's Degree in Transportation of Liquefied Gases by Sea and possess strong practical and theoretical knowledge of liquefied gas transportation.
Key Competencies:
• Planning, preparing and executing cargo loading, discharge, cooling-down, warming-up, gassing-up, inerting and gas-freeing operations.
• Monitoring cargo condition, tank atmosphere, cargo temperatures, pressures management throughout cargo operations.
• Practical experience in cargo grade changes and tank preparation procedures for various LPG cargoes.
• Hands-on experience in propane-butane mixing operations and cargo quality management.
• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of cargo compressors, reliquefaction plant, cargo pumps, pressure vessels and associated cargo equipment.
• Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance for cargo handling and gas processing systems.
• Participation in dry-docking projects, tank inspections, cargo system overhauls and commissioning activities.
• Strong understanding of cargo safety procedures, risk assessments, permit-to-work systems and emergency response operations.
• Experience working on modern Dual-Fuel vessels equipped with MAN ME-LGIP engines, Fuel Gas Supply Systems (FGSS) and LNG/LPG-related fuel technologies.
• Conducting onboard training and mentoring crew members regarding safe cargo operations and gas handling procedures.
