Enthusiastic, Honest, Motivated, Responsible, and Proactive Marine Chief Mate with more than 10-years of confident Worldwide Experience onboard Container Ships and Heavy-Lift Vessels. To be a Chief Mate onboard of Feeder Container Ship means working 14 hours a day in an everyday changing environment with a limited crew. My duties and responsibilities consist a lot of different Management and Operational roles, where I learned how to organize my time, and concentrate maximum on day-to-day tasks, not only related to navigation and cargo operations but crew welfare and organization of activities as well. I am empathic and listening to every crew member, to perform the best results, and organize an efficient Team, where everyone knows his duties. It is highly important on Container Ships with frequent mooring and unmooring operations and continuous 6/6 watches. I am focused on Safety, and always performing on-site trainings for less experienced or new crew. Performing weekly drills, and found a way to make them a part of the routine, to reduce a crew workload. Every day dealing with multiple Surveyors, Charters, Office personnel to maximize the effectiveness of the Containers Loading and Discharge process. Mailing with Agents and Company representatives, budget planning, and cost-effectiveness.
