Have experience in the position of Navigator on the following types of ships general cargo and bulk carrier (mixed crew). My duties included: - Keeping navigational watch as per COLREG and Master standing orders, watchkeeping in port (protection of labor and safety on the ship), maintenance of safety equipment in perfect condition as per SOLAS (free fall boat, resque boat, life jackets and life buoys, immersion suits, pyrotechnics, fire extinguishers, breathing apparatus, EEBD, fire hoses, fire hydrants, fire man protective clothing and so on). During cargo operations carry out the orders of chief mate and captain. Assist chief mate with ballast operations.
