On the ships where I worked as able seamen, I spent time as a cadet with the deck officer on the bridge at the navigation watch at the anchor watch. I have experienced situations that need attention at anchor and navigation watch. I assisted the relevant officer with the documents to be prepared before the arrival and departure to the port. I have gained experience in filling out deck and GMDSS journals, preparing ISM and ISPS documents. I learned about the duties of the deck officer by doing weekly and monthly tests and checks with them In line with the experiences, I have mentioned above, I am ready to serve as a deck officer on ships.
