I have gained practical experience of working on a ship as a sailor while serving in The Russian Navy for one year. I was responsible for: - chipping, cleaning, priming painting and polishing of ship surfaces; - splicing, knotting wires and ropes; - performing some carpentry works; - assistance with launching and retrieving a lifeboats; - keeping watch at the gangway; - participation in mooring and unmooring operations; - operation and maintenance deck equipment and emergency towing arrangements; Please allow me to highlight my skills and experience that related to working on board. I can work with a variety of electrical tools including a welding machine. I speak English fluently. I can read and understand technical manuals in English. I have experience of disciplined teamwork as it should be in the Navy. I also worked in an international team with colleagues from Germany, England, Poland. I am in good healthy condition.
